Weddings · Elopements · Vow renewals

You bring the yes. We bring Ecuador: the place, the day, your guests' days around it, and every local hand that makes it happen.

Our journeys are usually for small groups. Weddings are the joyful exception: we plan for an elopement for two or your whole guest list, from the first idea to the last goodbye at the airport.

Choose where you say yes

Snow on a volcano, bells in a colonial plaza, the Pacific at sunset. Ecuador fits very different weddings into one small country, and we know the roads between them.

I · THE ANDES

An Andean hacienda

Centuries-old haciendas in the valleys below Cotopaxi and Imbabura: whitewashed courtyards, chapels, gardens, and fireplaces for the cool Andean nights.

Garden ceremonies · chapels · long dinners by the fire

II · QUITO

Quito's colonial churches

Say yes in the historic centre of Quito, one of the very first places UNESCO listed as World Heritage, then walk out into its plazas with your guests.

Church ceremonies · plazas · rooftop dinners

Each church and parish has its own requirements; we help you ask and arrange them.

IV · THE ISLANDS

The Galápagos

Intimate vows and renewals in the islands happen only where permitted, with the right authorisations arranged. The islands' rules come first; we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

No. IIThe day

Roses at noon, a long table at night

We write the day with you, hour by hour, and then make sure nobody but us has to look at a watch.

Freshly cut long-stem Ecuadorian roses in coral, cream and blush, with drops of dew
Ecuadorian roses: long stems, big heads, colours from cream to coral.

The roses are the famous part

Ecuador's roses are known around the world. Grown high in the Andes, close to the equator, they come with long straight stems and generous blooms. Your florist works with them fresh, and if you like, a rose farm can be part of your guests' week.

Order of the day

A first draft, to rewrite together
Morning
Roses arrive; getting ready, slowly
Afternoon
The ceremony: garden, chapel, plaza or sand
Golden hour
Portraits while the light goes soft on the mountains
Evening
A long table, candles, food from the region, music
Late
Dancing, a fireplace, or the sound of the sea
A long candlelit reception table in a hacienda courtyard at night, coral and cream roses, linen, glassware and string lights

And at night

Everyone you love, at one table

Candlelight, roses down the middle, food from the region you chose, and music to match: a trio playing pasillos, a marimba from Esmeraldas, or your own playlist. We look after the timings so you can stay at the table.

Every kind of couple

Your love, your way of saying it

Two brides, two grooms, a bride and a groom; a quiet elopement or a party for everyone you know. Couples travel to Ecuador from every corner of the world, and same-sex marriage has been legal here since 2019. Six couples, six settings:

No. IIIThe guests

Your guests' Ecuador

For many of your guests, this will be their first time here. We plan their trip as carefully as your day, so they arrive relaxed and leave a little in love with the country.

Haciendas, boutique hotels or beach houses; we help hold rooms for your guests.
A gentle first day

One friend to ask
Every guest can write to us with questions, in English or Spanish.

Our journeys are usually small groups. Weddings are the exception. We plan for your whole guest list, with group transfers and excursions sized to how many come, and quieter options for those who want them.

No. IVThe details

How we plan it together

No packages and no price lists. Every celebration starts with a conversation and becomes a proposal written for the two of you.

  1. 1

    A conversation

Tell us about the two of you, your guests and the Ecuador you imagine. A video call or messages, in English or Spanish.

  2. 2

    A bespoke proposal

Settings, dates, the shape of the day and your guests' trip, in one proposal. Pricing comes with it, after we've talked.

  3. 3

    Scouting & vendors

We visit venues with you or for you, and bring together the florists, musicians and photographers you choose.

  4. 4

    The days themselves

We're there from the first airport welcome to the last goodbye, so the two of you only have to be present.

Seasons

The Andes are driest roughly from June to September; the coast is warmest and sunniest from about January to May. We'll match the season to your setting.

Legal or symbolic

Many couples marry legally at home and celebrate here. We don't give legal advice; for a legal ceremony in Ecuador we point you to the civil registry and your consulate.

Protected places

In the Galápagos and other protected areas, celebrations happen only where permitted, arranged with the right authorisations. Nature sets the limits.

Group size

From an elopement for two to your full guest list. Weddings are the one place we happily set aside our small-group rule.
