We met our private tour guide during a hacienda tour and it was fun at first sight! She was exceptional! What a wonderful tour! My private tour guide was a pleasure and so knowledgeable about the food, culture, and history of beautiful Guayaquil! I requested a food-centric custom tour, and LFT was quick to accommodate. We visited a local food market, Mercado de Sauces, (unbelievable ceviche!), did a chocolate tasting with Artist/artisan chocolatier Patricia Leon (incredible, unique experience!), and toured the parks and river walk of Guayaquil. I highly recommend the Local Friend Tour company and cannot wait to return to Ecuador!

En estos días visite junto con mi hijo a Guayaquil, para conocer la ciudad contratamos esta empresa para que nos dé un recorrido una parte en carro y otra parte a pie. Nuestro guia, fue una chica muy dulce y profesional. La verdad que la ciudad es muy linda pero es necesario tener un guía local que nos indique la historia real de su independencia y su desarrollo comercial. Una ciudad rodeada de agua con temperatura súper agradable. De mucha ayuda para hacer mi recorrido gastronómico al final del tour. Se los recomiendo.

LFT seems to be a jack of all trades and is very well-connected in the city. When the Iguana Park was closed due to the pandemic, the private tour guide was able to make a call and got us exclusive admission! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Excellent English.
